The University, founded in 1890, has been at the heart of spiritual movements throughout its history. Primarily a four-year, multi-denominational institution, Asbury University is ranked third among comprehensive colleges in the South by U.S. News & World Report.
Students come from 47 states and 11 foreign nations, and nearly 90 percent of the College’s students live on campus. Classes are taught by experienced scholars, 82 percent of whom hold terminal degrees in their field of study.
Asbury Universities 17 academic departments offer 47 majors. The University also offers several masters degrees in education, including alternative certification programs.
